Clare Devereux (M.A., McGill)

Clare completed a BA in Political Science and Economics at McGill, and is now pursuing an MA In Political Science, also at McGill. Her research interests include public opinion and political participation, as well as how public policy and electoral systems impact opinion and engagement.

Eva Falk Pederson (M.A., McGill)

Eva Falk Pedersen is completing her MA in political science at McGill University and is a member of the Center for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC). Her main research interests are political parties and party systems. She is also interested in research on social capital and generalized trust. She worked on the Neuroscience & Politics project and is working on the student conflict project. Eva also co-authors papers on the student protest in Quebec.

Mookie Kideckel (Ph.d., Columbia)

Mookie is completing his Ph.D. at Columbia University. He began working with Dietlind while an Honours History student with a minor in Political Science at McGill. He is currently a research assistant on political participation. He is interested in the historical development of identity, political engagement, and food politics.

Nicole Leonard

Nicole Leonard is completing a BA Honours Political Science with minors in Women's Studies and Economics at McGill. She is participating in the university's Arts Undergraduate Research Internship Awards (ARIA) program, and assists with research related to gender, diversity, perception, and political participation.

Valérie-Anne Mahéo (Ph.D., McGill)

Valérie-Anne Mahéo is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and is a member of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship (CSDC). She has completed a M.Sc. in Political Science at University of Montreal and she has worked for several years as a research assistant and coordinator on various international research projects (e.g. the Canadian Youth Study). Her research interests include political socialization, the different types of participation (like protest participation), inequalities in participation, social and political mobilization, non-engagement, and youth. She currently holds a doctoral fellowship from the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la société et la culture (FQRSC).

Denver McNeney (Ph.D., McGill)

Denver McNeney received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and his M.A. from Queen's University. He is a Ph.D. student at the Centre for the Study of Democratic Governance (CSDC) at McGill University. His research is focused on the cognitive processes that help form political attitudes and how these processes vary alongside political interest. This research connects work on cognitive heuristics, media effects, neuroscience, and social psychology to form a more cohesive picture of how political attitudes are created and structured.

Mike Robichaud (B.A., McGill)

Mike Robichaud completed a joint honors B.A degree in Political Science and History. Raised in British Columbia, Mike currently resides in Montreal, Quebec.

Kaitlyn Shannon (B.A., McGill)

Kaitlyn Shannon graduated from McGill with a B.A. in political science and international development studies. She works with Dietlind on the neuropolitics project, as well as projects related to the study of diversity and social capital. Kaitlyn will be pursuing an MSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics.

Maria Surilas

Maria completed a BA Honours in Political Science with a minor in Economics. She works as a research assistant at the Center for the Study of Democratic Citizenship. She has previously worked at the Center as a summer assistant with the ARIA program.
